SOURCE: My imation USB Hard Drive once i connect to USB

Sounds like it's not getting enough power from the USB port on the laptop. Drives like this usually have a 2nd USB connector for more power from a 2nd port. If you don't have a free port, you can buy a powered hub and use that for the drive. It has its own power adaptor so will provide enough power for the drive when both drive connectors are plugged in.

Format using fat

You need to format your disk drive using FAT or FAT32. NTFS is not an option on Android or other media devices, especially ones using MTP protocols. If you're using FAT or FAT32 to format your disk, you're doing the right thing and should check your TV for settings conflicts. Also make sure the USB port is not a service port, otherwise it is impossible to connect media.

I have sanyo lcd flat 32, how do i watch with using usb

hi,
Sanyo DP32648 doesn't have any USB port to which you can connect an USB device. One more thing in most of the TV's the USB port is used for the firmware updates and servicing purpose. If your tv has USB compatibility then try to use USB device less than 4 gb and should formated in FAT file system.
OK

I wondering only, how to connect my hard drive to the LCD TV

Hello.

If you have an external usb hard drive and usb ports on your tv just plug it in. Sometimes the menu for usb drives pops up. If not, try to press source or input select, input on your tv remote. You must see your drive name in the list. Just select it and you should be able to access your hard drive.

Hope this helps!

Can I download a movie to a USB from a Sanyo LCD 40XR10F TV

No you can't download movies to the USB from a Sanyo LCD 40XR10F TV. You can view some movies stored on the USB, if in a correct video format to the Sanyo LCD 40XR10F TV using the built-in TV multi-media player. Due to updating of the TV, some formats may not play that once did.

Samsung LA40C530 LCD USB limit

I have tested the LA40C530 Samsung with a 300GB external hard disk and it works well without any issue. My guess is that it should support 500GB as well. I have played video/music/pictures on my WD 300GB HDD.

Hi im sachin want to purchase 1 tb hard disk of cgate and LCD of ither samsung or sony.... 1. will support an external USB hard drive on this lcd's ? 2.is there any other type of hard disk i need to...

I do not know if the 1 Tb external hard will work on the USB ports on the LCD TVs.
What do you want to store on the 1 Tb USB hard drive and display on the LCD TVs?
Most LCD TVs can access USB memory sticks and display DVI movies (if supported by the TV), photos etc. that are stored on these USB memory sticks.
Try inserting an USB hard drive (borrow one if necessary, can be any capacity) into the USB port to see if it works before you decide to purchase a 1 Tb USB hard drive.
My suggestion would be to purchase a 1 Tb USB memory stick. This would out perform an external USB hard drive.

Drive is not switched on

check the input power switch on the rear of the unit...
It should be on 240V. Turn off the computer, then move the switch back and forth a couple of times... set to 240V. this assures the coorect input power to the external drive.

Secondly, move the USB port to another USB port on your computer. If it works fine, then it is a bad USB port.

Third, check the device driver in device manager on your software. try updating the driver... This solves a potential driver issue.

Good Luck,

Jeff
