SOURCE: what kind and how much oil do i put on a honda cb
Use 10w40 motor oil in the gearbox. NEVER use synthetic lubricants as they can mess up the clutch plates. There is an oil dipstick that is used to check the oil level. It has a gauge at the bottom end. Keep the oil level within the range of the gauge. If I recall correctly, it takes 1.2 quarts of oil. Go by the gauge and you can't go wrong. If the dipstick has been replaced with a plug, you can get a new dipstick at www.babbittsonline.com/parts/viewbybrand/parts.aspx $7.26. Other parts are available as well. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
SOURCE: need a wireing diagram for a 1970 honda cb 100
Have you tried the local Bike shops? In that your bike is an older model, it maybe that you have to go there and look through what they have. Older shops will have a manual there sometimes and let you look at it, but you may not be able to take it, so bring a pad and paper to copy the part in it that will help you. A test-light would help you, but being able to check the continuity is crutial for you. An Ohm-meter is a good thing to have as you can see where a wire goes, and what it is attached to. You can, due to the simplicity of you bike make a diagram yourself, with an Ohm-meter. Remember your bike has only got 2 main circuits. Ignition, and lighting. They are seperate and apart. If you need further assistance please do not hessitate to ask me, and thanks for calling on FixYa.com
