How to connect an MP3 Player to NAD C320?

You will need a cable with headphone jack (for mp3) and RCA left/right to connect to your NAD 320. You can connect to CD or AUX in the back and then you will need to change the input with remote or with on board buttons to CD or AUX depending where you plugged it.

Nad 7140 fm low frequency hum

This is probably a 60 cycle hum and the problem is more likely confined to the am/fm board, there is a bad ground due to poor solder joints, broken ground wire, an open capacitor, this may not be easy to find, but it is a start.

NAD S300 Amplifer humming

You have either got a bad earth connection, or possibily there's a capacitor failed.
If you can't find a dodgy conection, I would replace the large Electrolytic Capacitors in the power section, they are used to take out 50hz hum in the mains electric, when they go you get that hum coming into your system.

Nad c270 buzzing in amp

The buzzing is coming from the transformer. It is almost expected of an amplifier of this size, that the transformer (a large one) will excite the resonance of the casework and make some noise.

Nad 310 no power

The output should be 24v ac. Sounds like you have a busted transformer. Did you check out the resistor in front of the transformer.

You sound like you know what your talking about so I will not bore you with suff like glass fuses and thermal couples.

Good luck, I have had a few items like this over the years. Sometimes it's just best to send them in to the manufacture. I would look for a replacement transformer. 120v ac to 24v ac around 5 amps. Test it out and see if it works... If not, send it in.

The problem is the capacitor on the DSP board C107 2200mf / 16 Volts. Try replacing it and it should be fine
