Question about Toshiba Satellite A15-S127 Notebook
Im trying to format my laptop because its infected with a virus that cause a very slow performance and make my laptop hang most of the time.
In the process of formatting it can't continue becuase there is a missing Temp File Folder on my hard disk.
How can I fix this?
I suspect that a virus preventing it.

If you boot from an XP or vista install disk and select the option to delete the existing partition it should format ok. Be sure to not delete any factory restore partition that may exist on your hard drive. When you are at the partition delete screen you may see several partitions, just delete the one that is about the full size of your hard drive, any smaller one will be a diagnostics or retore partition. I hope this helps.
