2 capacitors are in the condenser unit. 1 ceramic, 189-227 mfd. would that be for the compressor? the other is aluminum, 35+5 uf. would that be for the fan?

the 189-227 is a start capacitor for compressor. the dual capacitor is 5 uf for fan and 35 uf for compressor it serves as run capacitors.

My wash motor was heating after i put a 16 uf capacitor that motor

the capacitor has to be right for the motor or it will burn out the windings in the motor
you have done the wrong thing by using a bigger capacitor
capacitors come in to categories
one type is a start capacitor and is controlled by a set of governed points in the back of the motor
The motor comes up to speed and the points open which takes the capacitor out of the circuit
The other is a start/run capacitor which impetuses to keep the motor running
I strongly suggest that you seek the help of a washing machine technician before you do real damage to the machine

How part no. CBB61 can replace part no. 84368?

CBB61 isn't a part number. it's more like a 'Type' number. The thing that matters is the uF (microfarad) value of the capacitor. If the uF value is close it (+ or - 1 uF) it will work fine.

Teac ct m685 shutting down

Removed and checked the power supply unit and confirmed the capacitors
C905 220uF 420V was measured at 200uF
C926 22uF 160V measured at 21.6 uF
C908 10 uF 100V measured at 10.35 uF
C910 47 uF 63V measured at 45.8 uF
Resoldered all of the joints on this PCB to ensure good connections.
On the Main PCB checked capacitors
C401 220uF 35V measured 214 uF
C417 100uF 160V measured 100 uF
C411 3300uF 35V measured 3090 uF
D204 was still a diode
C430 4.7nF 1600V measured 4.5 nF
C406 4700uF 25V measured 4460 uF
Reassembled and confirmed worked OK

These checks / repairs did fix this fault and the television is running well.

My Miele dishwasher wen I start it run the water in then it starts to hum then it stops cood you help.

Hi dear.According to what you're saying,it's faulty capacitor on main wash pump. Before take any action, please check filter ,if any obstacle blocking the pump.If any clean & run machine for test.If it did not work then you need to replace the capacitor"?uF" same as the original type.Do this if you know what you're doing. That'll solve the issue.I hope that helps.Thanks.

Where is the radio noise filter on a 83 venture

You may not have one!

Follow the wire from the stator/alternator to the regulator.

Look for a capacitor / can type electronic device.

The capacitor is liquid fill.

It will pop, leak dry up and fail over time.

A failing stator and regulator can also leak out small amount of AC current after the regulator.

MSD has a nice unit HERE

If you has old car then you may see this capacitor with the point kit. It's a capacitor to filter out engine alternator noise.
You may find it in any point kit.

Radio Shack will has a wide selection of cap.
You has to find the right uf value to do the job.
1000uf 36V is a good start. Work you way up and down in uf value to filter out the noise.

It hums but won't turn. are there brushes? what is the black canister hooked to wiring going to motor? aloha, chip

Hi Chip , have you tried !!carefully!! turning the grinding wheels whilst the grinder is powered up and humming and does this start the machine , if it does your motor start capacitor ( a cylinder/tube with 2 wires or connectors on it ) will be deffective or the leads might have became detached from it , a replacement capacitor is quite cheap but you must replace it with the exact one ( a motor start/run capacitor of the correct Mfd or uF rating typically 30 uF/Mfd and at the correct voltage 110/220V )
if this dosent fix your problem most likely your motor start windings in the motor field coils are burnt out and the grinder is uneconomical to repair .
hope this helps .

Fan motor not I have two caps and dont know which

First pull the quick disconnect (power source). If you have a multimeter with capacitor check (uf) capabilities, look at the side of the capacitor and see what the uf rating is, (should be somthing like 3.5uf or 5.0uf or7.5uf) then stick a screwdriver between both contacts where the wires are pluged into the top of the capacitor and touch both contacts at the same time to discharge any stored electric power, then remove all the wires from the top of the capactor, switch on the multimeter and set it to the uf setting, now place one lead on one side and one on the other, if your capacitor is say a 7.5uf and the reading is 9.0uf or 6.0uf it's bad replace
the capacitor. check both of your capacitors the same way, oh mark your capacitor and the wires so you can put them back together rite. If you don't have a multimeter with capasatence checking capability take them to an appliance shop and let them do it for you.
