if no power to machine and outlet has power [?] then the wiring from outlet to machine must have a short in it

open the lid and remove the plastic ice basket. Look on the walls under the ice basket and you should see a "fill line".. Water should be poured into that area (below where the basket goes) no higher than the max fill line.

Clean the sensor and check its not stuck with scale

If you hear the noise and the tray doesn't move or barely but not making ice OMG that is so easy to fix, I have one and I fix it my self, it is the tray ends that is broken because is made out plastic. is cheap to put it in. the tray it have a serial number and you can buy it from emerson, ebay mine cost me like 7 bucks.

I would try cleaning the evaporator coils. Sometimes they collect dust and decrease the efficiency of the cooling.

when mine did that i got out the air compressor and blew all of the dirty and stuff off of the moter and low and behold it worked great but be carefully I tore a blade off the fan and now it runs alittle noisey. still makes great ice now I gonna find another fan blades. you need to unscrew the back to do this.
