Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: mtx 895 trouble

check your fuse up front first. some amps will turn the light on with only the remote wire (the 12 volt signal from the head unit). That may be your issue. If not you need to check your signal input. try hooking the rca's to a diffrent source, i.e. other radio your tv anything with Rca out put. If still you get nothing then pull your subs out and take a regular 9 volt battery and touch the leads to the positive and negative of the sub. Just for a moment though if the subs move when they come in contact with the charge from the battery then my last suggestion would be to take it to a store where you can have an authorized tech check out the equiptment. Good luck

SOURCE: Red light on the amp.

Have you checked your speakers to make sure they're connected to the amp (a wire could have broken or pulled loose)?

Have you confirmed that you have a good signal reaching the amp?

The red light isn't always a good indicator that the amp is functioning properly. If you have speakers connected to the amp and have a good signal feeding the amp, the amp may have failed.

Locate the LIGHT + lead on your radio.
Do you best on finding the factory LIGHT + lead.
Use this old lead to trigger night lamination on your new radio.

If you can not find this lead then look for closest interior night lamination and tap into that positive lead.

I just installed a kenwood dnx7140. Everything is

Have you checked to see if the sub amp is turning on. Check to make sure you have at least 12 volts on your power as well as your remote turn on (Blue/White on radio harness).
If everything is hooked up correctly, it is possible that the preout is turned off. Some headunits have selectable preouts. If so you should be able to turn the sub on and off in the menu.
Hope this helps

Gas in oil!!

check the fuel pressure regulator, the diaphrams rupture causing fuel to be sucked into engine / you could have an head gasket that needs to be replaced. do a compression test on all cylinders i think you will find atleast 1 cylinder real low.

ok on the factory radio there is an adapter kit you can get that plugs into the back of the headunit and will push the sound to the subs i had one in my car till i got a new headunit and it worked fine. id recommend that you go to your local sound shop like a detail shop or some place that installs them for a fee and ask them what you think
