Problem for GE DBXR463GB Gas Dryer

Gas dryer on, won't heat, just had propane delivery,tanks were em

gas dryer was working fien, ran out of propane for 5 days, just had tyhem filled, went to do oad, tumbled but no heat. tried putting flame near whwer pilot light would be, no luck, some immediate gowing when i turn on dryet, do i need to start it and THEN attempt to put flame under where pilot light is?

I hope you didnt blow up by now, but your to hold a pilot valve down while igniting it
and keep down for 1 minute then release then turn valve to keep the pilot to operate the valve
