Question about Coleman CPX 6 Ultra High Power LED Spotlight
Hi my Coleman cpx 6 compatible will only work when the rechargeable battery is plugged in. Even the battery pack where you insert the batteries doesn't make it work

Brentonb, In the event that you don't get a direct answer (which is likely, since this is a pretty obscure question) I suggest you troubleshoot it this way. Remove the bad battery. Use the charging device that came with the lantern and wire it temporarily to the device in place of the battery. This will supply the correct voltage, but takes the possibly shorted battery out of the circuit. If you are certain you have the polarity correct and you know that the charger works, then you have your answer. good luck.
