My polaroid fxm-1911c picture is distorted, sound distorted with loud buzzing when I try to utilize the tv signal input jack, also the dvd player doesn't work

Looks like there are some partial defects in the TV and might need attention of a qualified service technician. Anyhow, make sure that the input cable, RC jacks and sockets all do not have any loose contacts. Go through settings and ensure that every set up is as it should be.

When I plug my lead into the jack input the guitar just makes a distorted noise a little like when you hold the end on a lead when plugged into an amp. I think maybe the jack inside has bent slightly...

If your unit has a battery, make sure you have fresh batteries. The jack ALSO serves to turn on the battery. If the jack is damaged or you use a TRS cable by mistake, the electronics will not be turned on and the sound will be very weak and distorted.

When I use my headphone jack on my Casio WK 3500, if I turn the volume up past a certain (very low) point, the sound is distorted. Can you tell me what might be the problem and how I might fix it?

There are two devices involved and you've only defined one.

What are you feeding the headphone jack TO?

Maybe it's the headphones (?) themselves that are distorting.

Wild guess... if you're plugging the output into "PHONO" on something it WILL distort above a very low level. "PHONO" is the only input in audio that is literal and exclusive. Turntables ONLY.

Use another input.

Google "RIAA equalization" for further info on that subject.

I have a carlbro glx 85 guitar amp, whitch seems to sound distored

Can you at least change the distortion sound (timbre, contour, whatever they call it on that amp) and drive? If this has a footswitch jack, you might luck out and find it's just dirty or stuck (normaled jack, could be NO or NC).

Sound plays distorted but sound card is working .

Sounds like you need to check the connection to your sound system. Could be the jack is not in properly or there`s a short in the cable to your soudn system. Check the cable if necessary. You might also be overloading the input on your soudn sytem so try to reduce the volume of the computer and raise the volume on the sound system. If your cable is shorting or coming loose inside the jack you will have problems.

Static Noise from guitar amp.

I take it you have made sure that both the cable to the distortion box from the guitar and the cable to the amp are both good. From the description you give, it sounds like there is no signal getting to the pedal. If the cable is good, then the next likely suspect would be the input jack on the fuzz box. Try wiggling it a little with the guitar cable in place to see if it is loose. Some input jacks are unbelievably cheap and flimsy. A crackling sound (static like) is almost always a bad connection. If it was the output jack, I would think that the guitar signal would come through a least a little bit, but you might want to try wiggling that one, too, if the input jack isn't the culprit.

Another possibility to check is the battery, but this doesn't seem as likely. Some effects units devour batteries, especially units that use 9V batteries. I have a multi effect pedal that kills a 9V in about an hour.

ha i had that man thats what happens when a gamer goes hard core on sound and blows a jack (you said master not dumbing it down) well replace the jack see what happens. if its still going try your wires coz if the wrong ones loose then you'll be lucky thats all that happened. if its a real ******* then replace what ever they use as a sound card.
