I have just got a toshiba laptop gmr310399en0 and cannot get the cd part open please help

If pressing the eject button fails, try selecting the CD ROM and right click to engage Eject. If that fails, insert a straightend paper clip into the small hole next to the eject button to release the drive.

Does it open using the right hand mouse button on the drive letter on your desk top? If it does the eject button is faulty.

My CD is stuck in my Toshiba Satellite A505D laptop slot, with no hole near the Eject button.

Look on the cover on the tray near the eject button. Should be a tiny hole.
Get something like a straightened out paperclip and insert it in to the hole and push firmly but carefuly. It's an emergency eject for a stuck tray.

Satellite p305d-s8828 cd won't eject

Use a pin and poke the small hole near the eject button. This will eject the tray even if the laptop is switched off. Try cleaning the tray. Do not touch the lens, or you will render it useless. Try carefully blowing the interiors to remove the dust. Now turn on the PC and try again.
