Question about Dell OptiPlex GX260 PC Desktop

My compnay had several of these machines.. all the same problem.

The will not power on, no indicator lights on the back. Sometime they will power on after being plugged in for an extened time, then work ok until they loss power. Its not a power supply problem .. just something does or does not get energized .

Try resetting everything in the system and check you have no messed up fans. Sounds like your processors are overheating and failing

Elma 7100wTHread gets tight in the pickup and then breaks. Sometime I can free motion for several minutes before this happens.


The top thread is snagging & hanging up somewhere in the thread path. Sometimes it's because it has looped around a guide or even the spool pin or possibly it is mis-threaded. Being able to stitch 3-6" is indicative of this issue as it takes that long before the machine "runs out of thread" before breaking.

Remove the top thread completely from the machine. ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning. Verify the thread path is correct.

I have SAMSUNG HL-S5087W that sometime shuts off several times a night. And sometimes not at all. Heard there is specific part that is not very hard to change. Any help out there?


Yes,it is the tv projection lamp.When it is shutting down several times.The LED "LAMP" light indication flashes or stay on.That the indication the projection lamp life are ending or near the end.Require a new tv projection lamp.

What causes the tv not come on?


Alway check the power source first.Most common problems are for the LCD and Plasma tvs.Tvs power supply boards have dead parts on them,than not giving the right voltage to the tv anymore.The LED power light indication on the tv front panel flashes LED light or no light at all.Sometime might work for a fix or a TEM.fix buy unplug,replug the tvs back about an hour later.

Diagnostics Test mode if a stuck key is detected.
Standby mode if there is a user interface mismatch.
DISPLAY (Saved Code) EXPLANATION AND RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE

Console and Indicators
This test is performed when any of the following situations occurs during the Console and Indicators Diagnostic Test:


None of the indicators light up No beep sound is heard Some buttons do not light indicators None of the indicators light up:
1. Perform steps in Accessing & Removing the Electronic Assemblies, and visually check that the P11 connector is inserted all the way into the machine/motor control.
2. Visually check that the user interface assembly is properly inserted in the console assembly
3. If both visual checks pass, replace the user interface assembly.
4. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
5. Activate the Console and Indicators Diagnostic Test mode to verify repair.
6. If indicators still do not light, the machine/ motor control has failed: Unplug washer or disconnect power. Replace the machine/motor control assembly.
Plug in washer or reconnect power. Activate the Console and Indicators Diagnostic Test mode to verify repair.

Engine dies out


Could be any of several problems. Since you indicate you just bought it, I'd suggest you return it. Troy-Bilt is pretty good at making customers happy and should repair or replace it right away.
