SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Acer S232HL driver did not install I want it instead of the Generic PNP driver. Help please

Good for you Barb, in the future be aware the for display adapters you can simply remove them and you would be prompted to re-install a driver for it at reboot.
It will by default use a generic monitor driver so you just cancel out the install and then run the setup off the CD.

Mike

How can I resolve P1706 for Nissan Altima? I replaced PNP switch...

There are only 3 possible causes for that code.

1. Open or shorted PNP sensing circuit between the PCM and the ground for the PNP switch.
2. Faulty PNP switch
3. Defective PCM or possible PCM software update

> I searched for possible Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) that may address this concern or authorize a software update to correct the problem and found none.

> You have already replaced the PNP switch.
> PCM failures are extremely rare.

This leaves us with an open or shorted circuit that needs to be traced. (which, incidently, should have been checked before replacing any parts.)

Hi, it does not matter which monitor the Notebook has, the ratings may change depending on the Hardware performance of the Notebook, Please make sure you have installed all the latest Drivers for Windows 7 OS. Usually the notebook manufacturer will release Drivers for Windows 7 OS in there Website. If you are using Windows XP Drivers for Windows 7 then the performance may vary.

Please check your Hardware Specification by downloading Speccy program from the below link:

http://www.piriform.com/speccy

Please follow the below steps to enable Hardware Acceleration.

1. Choose Start > Control Panel.
2. Double click Personalization and select Display Settings.
3. Click Advanced Settings.
4. Click Change Settings on the Troubleshooting tab.
5. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full.
6. Click Apply and then click OK to accept the new setting and close the dialog box.
7. Click OK to close the Display Properties dialog box.
8. Restart Windows.

There is a Wake On LAN support on netvista 6792
and possibly this may be the reason

First, go into your BIOS, find the PnP hardware settings and disable Wake-on-LAN (it may be in a different category depending on your BIOS).

Need to know jumper settings to disable onboard ethernet i have installed a ethernet card but i cant get them to not have conflicts

You probably just need to go into the bios setup to disable the on-board controller. If it is a dell, you usually just hit F2 when booting up to access the setup screen.

When I hook up my acer monitor it says no imput

Before making sure you have all the plugs & connections in the right place, look at all the pins on the end of the monitor plug that plugs into your on board/video card making sure none are bent or missing. If not, then try swaping with a known working monitor. If good monitor doesn't work either theres a good chance you may need to either add or replace video card.
If none of these options work you can let me know and I'll try to suggest something else.
