Facebook Problem i signed up for facebook and used the same email address as my wife (our home email). when i submitted my information it completely erased my wifes page. i deactivated my account and my wifes page is still gone. After i deactivated my account and go back to the main facebook page and try to input my wifes password it shows an invalid password. is there a way to completely remove my info and get my wifes information and page back up with having to do it all over again?

chrome google gmail accounts. we used a friends computer to check email of the one account. It was signed out. we got home and only one account is shown on our home commputer. the account is active but we can not find a way to sign into it. we always showed the two accounts and could go from on to other, but now no where.

There is nothing to get off of your computer regarding your wifes info. All information for facebook is kept on their site. For you to sign in you just need to create an account and sign in from the start up page.

We want two seperate facebook sign ons but we have the same email address... we are husband and wife and we have had the same email address for years and neither of us wwant to change our email address

Sadly the only solution is to create a new email address for a different account, Facebook does not allow you to use two DIFFERENT accounts on ONE email.

If you are using gmail, it may be possible to register two different Facebook accounts as gmail can be displayed as two different emails. There is a solution for that here:

However, I cannot speak to whether or not this information is reliable.

I am already on FB,now my wife wants to join with her own E-mail ID?

hello, Yes you can join facebook with your own email ID anytime free of charge, you only need the email address of the owner goto www.facebook.com.
in the home page you need to fill up few personal information followed with a valid email address and a safe password.
after filling the necessary information click sign-up button to join. you will then get a confirmation email to the email address you used to sign up.
click the confirmation link in the email and login into your facebook account, you only need the email address and the password to login.

I want to start my wife a facebook page i have a page and i would like to get my her own page she like the games

Your wife should have her own email address so that you may sign her up on facebook.com.

If she doesn't have an email address, you may register to yahoo.com, gmail.com, etc.

Logout from your facebook account by going to Account > Logout. Then go back to www.facebook.com.

You will see the sign up screen. Once you have signed her up, she may login to her own account and enjoy any games that she likes.

Don't forget to add her as a friend in your facebook account so that she can have a neighbor in some of the games. The more friends she has the more neighbors, the more games she will enjoy playing.

I hope this helps!

My wife Can't signup for Facebook-has same email address

1) Create a new email for you wife.
2) Make sure that you sign out if you wife want to sign in. Go to facebook main page (http://www.facebook.com) instead the login page.
3) If the steps failed, the easiest way is to clear your private data on the browser.

Cheers

My wife started a Facebook account and used our email address as an alternate. I now can't get into my account because it only recognizes her at our email address. She even deactivated it but when I try...

My wife started a Facebook account : does it mean u have created a seperate account in ur name ?

solution : 1 if so , u must have got the activeation mail : please check ur inbox and junk folder . if u dont find the activation/confirmation mail from face book , then looks like ur alternate mail has been used primary contact :

solution 2 : ask ur wife to login to her accout and then later log off .

then sign in with ur personal account and see if the creadentials are valid .

(u can view 2  diff account on the same browser , unless 1 of the account is logged off ).

would b glad know more about it .,

good day .

My wall posts are appearing on my wife's profile.

There is a very simple solution to this problem. in your gmail account you should be able to invite her to use gmail and just have her create a gmail account all her own, instead of being on a sub account under you.

I have actually never heard of what you are describing before, and I have been a gmail user for years, well, matter of fact since it started.

If she uses her own separate email account, not a sub account of any kind, that will resolve the issues.
