Question about ASUS Eee PC 900 Notebook
Just bought laptop and ran wizard everything downloaded ok, but wont connect to internet. Bought a router although my DSL should already act as one, I have bellsouth dsl, it tried to connect to google but failed again. I thought this would be easy, am I doing something wrong? All the correct lights are on says working good, but still says I am working offline
Click f2. if that doesnt work then
go to start and go to control panel,
then click on internet options, click on the advanced tab, and click reset, there you will find connectivity or internet or something, click on the cross which brings more info up, it should bring up atheos ethernet, and atheos wireless, delete/uninstall them both. then try to connect again.. should work.

Check if the build in wifi finds your router/the home-WAN u already use(??)
turn over router, write down the WPA-nr (16 digits)
use logon program-tool provided with router or laptop,
if working, it should at least display some of the wifi-nets/hot-spots/WANs available at ur place,
then log onto your one, enter wpa-key(is password and for encrypting your connection)
choose defining ip-config using DHCP-standard/automatic ip-adressing,
a network-connection symbol may now pop up at lower right on the task bar :
and retry surfing.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
