Question about Panasonic NN-S563 Microwave Oven
Our Panasonic NN-T563SF microwave oven seems to work fine until we press the Start button. It then stops after 6 seconds. Any pointers on what to look for or where to find a service manual? I'd hate to toss it if it just needs an inexpensive part! Thanks! Larry.

The 22 seconds is the giveaway.
In most cases, this is a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.
Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.
I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer.

Our technician suggest that there may be a problem with the Inverter Board in this model, which is something that would need to be looked at by a Service Center.
In rare cases it could be the door switches.

it stops after 7 seconds, it has a problem with the inverter.
Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.
Plus, since it's new (less than one year old), it would be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

The problem I had experienced with the Door not opening easily will be resolved by removing the micowave oven top cover with a tamper proof torx head, replacing the door switch and reinstalling the top cover.
