Question about Lexmark X6170 All-In-One InkJet Printer
My printer won't communicate with my computer and I think that its the printer itself. The wifi light keeps blinking amber, and even if its hard wired to the computer, I can't get it to print so it leads me to believe that its the printer itself that has the problem. After I moved, I re-connected all the peripherals and everything works fine except the printer. I tried re-installing the software but it didn't do any good. Does anybody have any idea why the printer won't acknowledge the computer, or vice-versa?

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.
