You may have a loose wire on a receptacle or a bad circuit breaker. You should shut the circuit off and have it examined by a licensed electrician.

Did your circuit breaker blow.in your electrical box. Check that first before anything else. Sometimes if you have anything else on the same circut as a heater the breaker will shut down.

I get an F2 error code and the broiler element will not shut off, even when oven is turned off! Had to flip circuit breaker to shut it down. What part do I need?

Follow the wires from the sensor to the control board and check the ohms there. It should be around 1050-1100 ohms, if the oven is at room temperature. If it is close to the correct ohms replace the control board. Probably a stuck relay on it.Here is the board to order.

All parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Water not shutting off to begin wash cycle flooded room

Probably one of the water cut off solenoids not shutting off.
Do you use both hot AND cold water?
Try using only cold water first. If that works, maybe hot water solenoid is faulty.
Next, connect cold water to the HOT inlet, and try it again. This means you have now tried each of the solenoids, and maybe identified which one is faulty (assuming thats the problem!). If water wont cut off after trying this, the problem will be with whatever level sensing device it has, but I am not familiar with the model you have, so cant help there. Good luck.

Back up electric heater required.

A bit late for you probably Steve, but other browsers might be interested...

Micathermics are faster to warm up the room than other resistive heaters, but otherwise they're no more efficient - so it depends whether you feel that the fast warm up is worth the extra money that the micathermic would cost.

If your ceiling is well insulated (including over the wall plates at the top of the internal walls) then the large windows are very likely the reason that your underfloor heating can't get the heat high enough. Have you considered double glazing? 3M have a very cheap, disposable window insulation kit that you could put on for a cold season to see if it's worth putting in some more permanent double glazing (and in fact that kit will probably last 2 or 3 cold seasons if you just leave it up).

The heater power (kW) required to get that extra 2 degC depends on how well the room is insulated. Your best bet would be to find out how much kW your underfloor heating is putting out and how much degC it is warming up the room, then keep the same proportions to work out how much extra kW you need.

I have a LP gas log heater, the thermostat is in the living room and I would like to shut this room off this winter. Is it possible to add a second thermostat elsewhere in the house so this can be done?

Yes. If the thermostat is connected with electrical wires you can buy some wire and move the thermostat or add a second thermostat. Just be aware that dual thermostats can cause people to forget that they have to shut both of them off to stop the heater.

Dryer does not dry

hi,

need to know if its gas or electric, easy way to tell is to look at the power cord going into the dryer, does it plug in next to the washer or does it have a thicker heavier plug near the floor? thicker plug means its electric, smaller cord means gas. Dryers are dangerous appliances. If you have any doubt what yoru doing stop and write here or call a pro. Be careful to shut the breaker off in the fuse box or shut the gas off outside the house before you do anything else. Most likely if its electric the element burnt and you need a new assembly, or if its gas has their been a disruption of gas service lately? How ******* is your laundry room? You should always leave the door open to your laundry room so the dryer can breathe. If you come to find that your laundry room may not have enough airflow, the thermocouple in a gas dryer will go if it cant breathe also. let us know

hope that helps
