FIRST READ ALL, then check cables u need, then proceed!

u want to connect turntable to pc - don't need usb

or connect turntable audio-out to radio/cd.player and this combination to pc?

recording on mp3 player is an option, but quality else is much better!

u will need for case 1:

a pc-program called audio-grabber 1.83, downloadable on the inet
a pc with soundcard that has audio-in (3.5mmplug, also used for small microphones
and earphones)
and at least win 2000 on it
the cable connecting turntable and pc(see following)

if turntable has audio-out like

- two red and black-cinch ports (to connect to amplifier/radio)
you need adaptor cable from 2-plug (red/black, male) to 3.5mm audio-in (similiar tor headphones,
male version)

- turn-table has small(3.5mm) or big (6.3mm) earphone-in,
use signal from here, connect tt with pc using adaptor cable
(3.5mm, male + 6.3 to 3.5mm separate adappor (small earphone to fit in big) at one end and
3.5mm, male to plug into pc-soundcard's audio in)

do all the pluggin', then turn on PC, start up audiograbber, turn on tt let play, press record button
in audio grabber, make an test recording, half a minute will do.
now let audiograbber sample theresulting .ogg file to test.mp3 and test-play it with windows media player on your pc

voila une mp3 !

to have every song from vinyl sepatetly as mp3,
record and name it serately in audiograbber, let it sample down to mp3 and enjoy!
u may have to fiddle through audio-grabber's menus and adjust volume, sample rate(quality of mp3)
to your comfort, but now u own legal copies of your vinyls, with still the analog vinyl tickle
and know how to use audio grabber as an recording tool for any music that is played on or put into a pc, incl. webradio other webcasts

please don't stop the music

My Dual CS 430 turntable suddenly stopped playing - rest of equipment (radio, CD player, tape deck) okay. Can you help, please?

Amplifiers always take the sound of the turntable via a separate pre-amp from all other systems, such as radio and CD players. This pre-amp can go faulty killing the sound from the turntable only. If the turntable goes through the actions of playing the record, then this is the cause of your trouble.

How to record from vinal to cd

Amplifiers that you can plug turntables into have a special input for turntables. You can't just plug them into the same input that you would plug a CD player into or some other "AUX" source. Turntables have a different impedance. You will have to have to have one of those amplifiers and then use the "line out" connectors on the back of the amplifier to connect to your computer using the MIC jack on your computer. If you can record your voice on a CD using a microphone, then this should work.

I have a bush turntable cd radio usb set. no problems recording my vinals to the USB however the sound is "tinny" with no bass whatsoever.\r\n Is there a fix for this? was thinking it might be...

Your vinyl records probably were recorded with RIAA compensation (the jacket will indicate). Your USB connection may be flat (without compensation).

I would like to replace the radio facia on my Audi

yes there is. Your best bet would probably be a pionner stereo. There are several pioneer stereos that you can add Satnav, sattelite radio, am/fm, cd, mp3, etc. Just depends on what you want.

I need a power cord for RP-7986 AM/FM Stero Radio/Cassette Recorder/Compact Disc Player.

Depending on where you live, you can find them at Radio Shack, Walmart, most discount electronics parts stores, etc. They are universal except for the physical plug style at the unit side. Best bet is to take the unit with you if possible for a perfect match. Hope this helps

Need driver for windows to have the Crosley CR249 turntable work correctly.

Hi,
Insert the enclosed software cd into your computer.
Follow the instructions on the computer screen to install the software. If the software does not load automatically, browse the cd and open the Read Me folder for further instructions.
Connect the small end of the USB to the USB jack on the back of the unit.
Connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.
On your computer open the Record Recording software.
For instructions on operating the Record Recording software, browse the software cd and open the Read Me folder.

I got that from the manual. You don't need a separate USB driver for it, mate, but you DEFINITELY need the cd...

Hoping you have the cd,

Chris (ziraffa)

Followup on rca rp-9320

Billy,
I have the service manual, but can not send it along because of contractual limitations. The particular loading mechanism is not the easiest to "re-align". I would suggest that you have this serviced by an authorized RCA service center. There is no easy way to try and descrbe how to rebuild this one.
