Question about Audio Players & Recorders
My im600 won't play when plugged into the wall. For a while I could move the cord around and set it just so to get a connection. I bought a new cord thinking it was a faulty cord, but the new one has the same issue. And just recently it doesn't seem to matter which way the cord is turned or shifted it wont play at all. I've just bought a new battery thinking that may be the issue. I have not received the new battery yet. Any insight in to this issue is greatly appreciated!
The connector on the im600 is broken. It cannot be repaired economically.

My inMotion will work with batteries installed but not with the Ipod charger connected to the speakers via the ipod cable. But do not know if the batteries will run down.

Turn the remote upside down. At the bottom, there is a slot that opens the battery tray and a series of grooves that are part of a clip that releases the tray. Insert the fingernail of your thumb into the grooves and the fingernail of your index finger into the slot. Ease the grooves (clip) toward the middle of the remote and slide the tray out. There is a ridge in the tray that matches the battery only when the battery is in the proper position. Slide the tray back in. If the remote doesn't work, you've probably inserted the battery in the wrong position.

2 screws at the back removed with a cross head screwdriver. Remove the casing, then the battery plugs in to a white connector.

There is a SURE solution to this problem: move the device away from metals - especially do not put it on metal surfaces such as refrigerators.
It stops being moody then!

Tips for a great answer:
IM600 Compatibility: iPod mini; iPod classic 3G, 4G, 5G, 5.5G, 6G; iPod nano 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G; iPod touch 1G, 2G; auxiliary input connects to any CD, DVD, or MP3 player using a stereo mini-plug. If you have a mini-plug port on the IPhone which I believe you have; then attach a male to male plug in between the two devices. Take to Radio Shack for correct line plug.
