The customer service reps at Products America are very familliar with the type of crib you have and the hardware that it uses. You can call 800-205-9642 or 800-772-1041 and they should be able to help you figure out what the problem is. You can also check out their very user-friendly website at 800-205-9642 or 800-772-1041.

How to convert from crib to toddler bed

It converts from a crib to a daybed, by taking the front sliding rail completely off. The rail will slide up out of the groove.

Hope this helps.

Need instructions on how to convert my aspen simplicity crib into a toddler bed?

i think this is the same crib that i have. I remove the front rail that slides up and down, then i removed the plastic contraptions that allow it to slid up and down on. I then attached the bed frame on the lowest setting, by first fastening the two back ends first. Then I attached the toddler rails to the bottom of the bed frame and then once they where on I attached the bed frame to the crib with the rails and the brackets for the bed frame pressed together. I hope i explained it so that i makes sense.

Looking for teething rails for the Bethany James crib.

gud morning..maybe you can put a replacement of the plastic piece that slides or snaps on and covers the entire top of each side rail, you replace it by puting a cloths on it..and make sure that the child is safe.

thank you

Model # 4960...help

I ended up having to take the tracks off of the crib and 'force' the slider things through. I then screwed the tracks back onto the crib. I was told that you could just leave the tracks on and the sliders would just slide right on.....that wasn't true for me. I wasted 3 hours trying their way and finally got fed up and did it my way.

If it is like my KinderKraft crib and you want to make it into a day bed, here is how to do it:

Where the bottom of the sliding rail rests at each end, there are small rubber bumpers that stop the rail from going down too far. With the rail in the up position, unscrew the rubber bumpers (remove completely), then drop the rail as usual except it will continue going down. Let it go down until it comes off the guides and you are done! I replaced the rubber bumpers on mine so I don't lose them, though. I actually just did this two night ago! :) Good luck!

P.S.

Your matress needs to be in the lowest postion in order to safely use this crib as a toddler bed!
My email is sharon_d95@comcast.net. If I can help you any more with this, feel free to contact me. If your crib is very similar to mine, I can email you a copy of the manual.

I was looking for the same thing. My crib has directions on the board that the mattress sits on. It basically says to remove step 4, which is the rail that goes up and down. You slide it up a little from its bottom position and then the screw heads come through the slots that you see and then the whole thing comes off pretty easily. I has to push and pull a little to get the screws through but it worked fine. There is no additional piece that goes on, just stays like that and is stable. My son is very excited to give it a try tonight. Sort of a long way down though! Need to find some extra pillows for a safe landing! Good luck to everyone.

i have a crib with the same model number, except it's not cosco..at least i don't think it is. it's dorel. anyway, i have the same crib i believe, and if you say all the parts and hardware is there, maybe you forgot to put on the stoppers at the bottom of the sliding rail. that's the only thing i can think of. hope it helps...if not..try see if you can contact dorel.
