try reset printer network settings and test again, and check for any high power electronics, nearby printer. because the magnectic fied is a wireless wall that reduces wireless signal.
all you have to do is go to control panel and you need to locate the the printers folder.right click on the HP PHOTOSMART C4300 series then select "use printer ONLINE" 100% sure that this will resolved the issue...
Sorry, Fax and Scan is part of Windows Vista not MS Office. I have been advised by PC World team that this printer (HP Photosmart C4380) does not have the necessary drivers to support Vista Fax and Scan wirelessly and can only operate with the HP Fax and Scan which is very basic and only seems to function via USB cable, not wirelessly. Update drivers may become available.
check the ports first.. make sure that the printer is set as default ( make sure it has the green tick and the status "ready" or "online" on the printer icon in the printers&faxes. and if u want to connect it wirelessly, you have to install it as usb first before changing to wireless........
I had the same problem where I could get the HP Printer to access the router due to MAC filtering. I tried hard to find the MAC Address of the printer but was unsuccessful as it was not printed anywhere on the box or printer. But this link really helped me: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01123173&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=3221646&dlc=en&lang=en
I printed it out and it had the MAC address on it... Configured my router and it's now working great... Hope this solves your problems
