WE NOTICED THAT THE TOUCH PANEL WAS NOT RESPONDING AT ALL TO ANY TOUCH WE HAVE HAD A ELECTRICIAN OUT TO LOOK AT IT HE SAID THE CONECTION IS GOOD TO THE TOUCHPANEL BUT IT IS STILL NOT RESPONDING TO TOUCH THE DISPLAY IS STILL ON AND CAN EASILY BE READ REBOOTING THE SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK PLEASE GIVE US SOME SOLUTIONS PLEASE.
Touch screens rely on drivers. Re-install the drivers.
If this does not work the screen probably needs to be replaced. The screen image does not reflect the state of the capacitance resistance touch function.

XP operating system?
Have you ever defragmented the computer?
Have you updated the video drivers?
A good source for updating your drivers is called Driver detective.If your video card is an nVidia card, then go to their web page and update the drivers and then go to Microsoft and update the DirectX drivers.

I dont thing this is a virus problem but a heat problem. if you dont mind getting inside the box see how clean it is and put your hand on the power box case .. then unplug all the hardware except the mother board then turn the unit on, if it goes on then plug 1 hardware at a time.

1. overheating, and automatic shutdown.
Check that the fans are working.
2. bad RAM, causing "random" crashing.
On a "good" computer, download the free 'MEMTEST86+' software, and run it, to test your RAM.
3. Leaking capacitors on motherboard, causing "voltage-spikes", leading to "random" errors.
4. Bad disk-drive. Remove the disk-drive.
Connect it as a "slave" drive in another computer,
and run 'CHKDSK' ("Check Disk") to look for problems.

probably it is a windows issue ..try to reinstall the computer completely using the recovery partition ..and select complete reinstall of the operating system ..This way you will have a fresh start and if it is still functional it will work in full features..There is no other simple way to do it ..

Same with my Dell Vostro 420. At this rate I will just buy a new PC as I am wasting too much time on this. We tried usual stuff like cleaning inside, making cooler, removing certain virus software, still no luck. I have to restart 4 times a day and keep saving material. Can only restart by turning it off by pulling out power socket.
