Turn the screw labled T in a little. This will raise the idle setting. Heres a link to the manual. Look on page 29 of the .pdf

Carberator adjusting

Many new units have a very limited adjustment possibility. This is due to EPA regulations. If the saw is hard to start, it may need to be richened up a little. Your dealer should have proper tool to adjust.

I need instructions on for adjusting carberator settings on Mighty Mite chainsaw.

Before you make any adjustments start with fresh fuel in the saw. Dump out all the old gas and try starting with fresh fuel. The alcohol in the gas we have thease days draws water to to it. Water in the fuel will not burn.

When it won't run correctly, try removing the fuel tank cap temporarily. If it immediately picks up, suspect tank venting problems. Good luck!

Need carberator settings for a sears craftsman chainsaw model#358.354831

You don't want to tighten them down just turn them in until the are just snug and then turn them out.
Start with the low at 2 full turns out and the high at about 1 full turn out. Start the saw and let it idle adjust the low idle to where it runs smooth. Adjust the high until the saw runs as much rpm as you can get at w.o.t. (Wide Open Throttle).
