A fuse is not your problem. this TV has a safty feture that when it senses a problem it cuts the power to prevent any fouther damage, when you un plug it the TV resets and it will turn on agian. How do I fix the speed of my Technics SL-6 Turntable?

Something has gone awry in the world beneath the platter so you will have to remove the platter to expose the mechanism, then observe what happens (or doesn't happen) when the buttons are pressed.

Technics 1200 fault where both the 33 & 45 buttons remain lit, the platter spins at super speed, start stop button doesn't work and the red light is not on

Did you try to de-assemble and clean the contact of this button with contact cleaner, take care to not shoot on rubber parts if you have near the contact, it would blown up !

When i turn my 1210s on both 33/45 switces come on and platter spins too fast

Couple of options , but first cleanen the pithfader and variable resistor pitch vr3 i thought, it's an open one , he needs allways to be replaced, even technics says so and first clean the board, inside and on youtube and this side there enough movies and text how to do it, and check the pitchfader cables very good.

Arm not working. Stop/start light flashes red instead of staying solid

Don't try and force anything that won't move. Try this. With the power unplugged, place the tonearm over the record, if it will move freely, while rotating the platter by hand. Move the tonearm slowly over the surface of the platter until the end. Continue turning the platter by hand and see if the tonearm picks up and returns to the rest. See if that fixes your issue. Counter clock spinning

pitch slider can cause an unstable motor (clean with can of air and switch cleaner) if it spins counter clockwise it will be the brake. there is a little screw in a hole under the platter to ajust the brake speed.

Stanton ST150 turntable won't spin

Hello DeKay,

I just had a spindle lock issue this past Sunday at my gig. I had the turntables out in my car and brought them in. I let then warm up for 2hrs before plugging them in.

Everything was good. Then mid set my right side turntable started spinning really fast and then DEAD STOP.

I was pushing the platter and it really hard to turn. I took off the platter and tried to turn it with my hand. It was dead locked, WTF?!!

So I limped through with one turntables since I use Traktor Scratch Pro and made it through the whole night successfully.

I searched the net and it was suggested to lubricate the 1200 spindle with 15W40 motor oil. Since the motor design is indentical, I picked up some 10W40 motor oil since I couldn't find 15W40.

I oiled both turntables to be on the safe since. I tapped the spindle on the locked turntable to help loosen it.

I drove back home which is pretty much an hour drive and let the tables sit for another 2 hrs.

I decided to grab a thick towel and vice grips to work on the locked spindle.

Clamping down on the towel with the vice grips on the brass fitting for the platter I was able to free the spindle quite easily.

I was then able to turn it by hands so I did in both forward and reverse directions to work the oil down into the spindle bearings.

I put the platter back on and spun it manually to check for resistance, it was spinning nicely!

Plugged in the turntable, set the pitch at 0 and watched the stobe dots. There was no waver in the strobe dots. YAAAAAAAY!

My turntable is back to new and since I only use them on the road they stay stored most of the time.

So I would suggest just oiling the spindles every so often to keep them tip top.

Hope this helps you!

Peace,
DJ Quartz

Platter quit spinning

Sounds like the motor drive controller might be malfunctioning. An authorized Denon service center would have to take a look at it to make sure.
