Question about Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera
My camera got dropped. =( and it shos up as an error, with a black screen and it tells me to reset my camera, well, i cant figure out how to do that, as it wont let me use the camera, i hooked it up to my computer but the same problem occurs, the lens wont retract and thats the problem, is there a solution???
To reset factory defaults. Turn the dial to P (program). Turn on the camera. Hit the menu key. You will now see the extended menus. (if you don't turn to P you only get basic menu). Go to the last tab which is the second tools menu. Look down the menu and you'll see a "clear settings." Select this and you have two choices "clear all camera settings" and "clear all custom functions." Select "clear all camera settings." The "clear all custom functions" only applies if you've created custom functions which few people do. I hope this helps.
