Question about Computers & Internet
Since you didn't provide specific router make & model, what I will tell you will be generic and not specific to your router. First, you will need the current user name and password to login to the router. Then you will need to plug your router into your computer and in your browser type in the IP address of the router. It will be 192.168.1.1 for linksys routers it's the same or netgear or may be 192.168.0.1, D-Link routers use 192.168.0.1
If it's another brand, google "default ip for (whatever)" and it should be easy enough to find.
Once you're logged into the router you should be able to find the wifi section and be able to change the password. Note that all devices that you plan on using for wifi with this router will need to have that password entered when trying to connect. If you run into any problems you can reset the router back to the default settings when you first bought it new.
