Take it apart and rinse it with water. it may have grit inside. Be sure to remember the order of the gear sprockets.

Land rover, continued they did the heat sensor test on radiator it was good it could sit all day idle and not overheat it won't blow hot air unless u hold the rpms 1500 for 10 sec the heat will start...

sounds like air trapped in the cooling system. park it on an uphill slant, open the radiator cap...cold of course and let it heat up. replace any coolant that burps out of it

My 1994 FLSTC keeps blowing out the front top rocker arm box seal every few thousand miles. Mechanic said it is due to poor design that year on how seal sits? Any suggestions?

Go tell your mechanic that he doesn't know what he's talking about. I own a 1994 FXDWG and the only thing it does is seep a bit of oil on the rear cylinder base gasket. Your '94 model Evo engine is what we call a "head breather" in that the crankcase pressure is vented into the air filter through hollow "union bolts" that go into each head. If you or someone else has changed these bolts to eliminate the "breathing" effect, crankcase pressure can build in the engine causing it to blow the gaskets. Another thing that could be wrong is that your breather gear in the crankcase may have a broken tooth on it. This is the rotating "valve" that allows your crankcase to evacuate the oil into the cam chest so that the oil pump can pump it back to the oil tank. The gear is made of plastic and the teeth on the gear will break off. When this happens, the "valve" will either stop turning or become out of time with the crankshaft causing excessive pressure in the engine. Also, when installing the new seals, the middle and upper rocker box covers must be aligned properly to ensure the seal is not squeezed out or pinched.

Good Luck

Why the hyd. oil of trasmition gear blows out when it is hot

Hii Khlilrosh,
Sounds as if the gear box has been over filled. When checking and filling the gear box, always do so with the engine running! The engine should be at idle and the best way is to sit inside the vehicle with your foot pressed hard on the brake and the park brake on. Select each gear in turn and then leaving the vehicle in neutral with engine running, check the level on the dip stick with the red top. You'll notice there are four marks. Two indicate the level with a cold engine and the other two, if the engine is hot. (those are the upper two marks) The marks are indicated as hot and cold. Don't exceed the upper marks.

those are the red rings of death means that your xbox either overheated or malfunctioned. Now this might sound crazy but wrap the 360 in dry towels and keep the 360 on for 20 mins with the towel then unplugg it then let it sit then turn it on if its still like that send it to microsoft to get it fixed.

KitchenAid KSM90 gear stripped?

I just ran into this problem when the PLASTIC worm gear broke and then the mixer would not power on after I replaced the gear. The problem was due to the was I tried to dissasemble the mixer. I removed the two plastic screws near the top center of the mixer when attempting to disassemble. These do not have anything to do with the assembly it turns out the attached square pieces (attached to these screws by springs) must be in the proper orientation to run. I put them in the way it showed in a diagram but it did not work until I tried all four different combinations that they could be rotated. Two of the rotations on the square could be eliminated by closely looking at the end where it contacts the shaft. The round shaft marking will be evident on the square inserts. I'mnotsure how to better describe them, but the are attached by springs to the plastic screws on both sides of the top of the mixer.

There is a black ovule shaped gasket that sits between the top of the window nooze and the edge of the tank. If it is missing, then you lose suction at that point. Also is the filter on the end of the tank that sits over the square outlet clean?

Replace oster kitchen center base drive part

I'am the guy who posted the comment I found out how to do this.
There are 2 possible solutions the 2nd is not pretty, hope the first works for you it didn't for me.

1- The motor must be lock up, by placing a thin screwdriver through the holes in the base into the fan down into the motor, holding the screwdriver, remove the square drive from the top.The part you are trying to remove actually is screwed into a gear in the gear box, you will need a spanner wrench,(sometimes a strong pair of long nose pliers will work, engage the spanner holes, hold the screwdriver ,and try to unsrew it, you may need someone to hold the screwdriver, because it takes a lot of force to loosen it.These are regular threads, and unscew counter clockwise.

2- if #1 doesn't work-this will- but its not so pretty. The motor assembly attached to the gear box will have to be removed,it will come out as one piece
Remove the bottom plate, unplug the white wire from the speed control, and the blue- white wire from the board, also you will have to remove one of the brushes with the white -blk lead.
Now you will have to actually break off of the top plastic(bakelite)by whatever means you dream up (I actually used a small wood chisel to score a line, and crack it) once its cracked, it breaks apart easily.Once thats done turn it over and remove the four screws holding the gear box to the housing you will now be able to remove the gear-box motor assembly.
Remove the 3 screws from the top of the gear box pry the box open, remove the gear with the piece that needs to be replaced, now you need to get the piece unscrewed from the gear.I did this by locking the nurled end into a vise, and very carefully grabing the gear teeth with large channel locks(if you think of a better way thats great)it work for me,but I was very concerned about the gear teeth, you can't slip.
Try the new piece to make sure it sets all the way down to the bottom of the gear(it must or your head will be to high ,and won't lock down)if all is well, make sure everything is greased, and start re-assembly, the new coupler ,and the square drive will be the last 2 pieces assembled from the top, once again locking the motor with a small screwdriver.
