Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

No sound from receiver

I have a TEAC AG-V3050 receiver that I cannot get sound from. The test tone works fine, but even with the volume at high, I can just barely hear anything through the system.

Is the test tone loud or at the same level. you need to check the volume level of your player dvd, cd to make sure it's all the way up some players have volume level built into them.

SOURCE: TEAC AG-V3050 FM reception was fine and then quit.

If a unit turns on it isn't a blown fuse. Does the tuner give you indications that it is or is not tuning a station? Change the FM Mode to Mono. You should at least be able to hear FM hiss if the tuner is alive.

SOURCE: My AG-V3050 pro-logic receiver seems

Hi
Two dump question and than recommendation..

  • First ;During listening FM ,Your " MUTE" switch is "ON" or "OFF" ? if not how about plain STEREO mode ? did you try it ?
  • Second..how about the other Modes , i.e ..CD ,DVD etc. ? same problem or it happens only in FM ?
ok..now the possible solution;
sometimes FM stations do not properly triggers pro-logic circuit and cause such problem and you need to switch to STEREO or A.F.D mode to listen FM (AFM includes sub woofer)..
This is true for FM only and it should not happen in other modes as DVD ,CD,Phone etc..
Hope this helps!..if more help requires pls let me know.
Take care and please

SOURCE: Teac AG-V3050. Everything looks right but puts out no sound to speakers. Have trien many speakers. Is there a fuse, reset, etc? Thanks

I nce had the relay for the amplifier die on one of my receiver. Basically this will allow the amp to power on and supply voltage to the speakers. Same thing though, i could access all of the menus, adjust setting, and volume but no sound because the amp never clicked on.

You have to enable them and turn the volume on them up separately with the speaker config, level trim, and up/down select buttons on the remote. You can also adjust the rear speaker delay time or just hit the test tone button and adjust the volume on each speaker separately as it goes through them one at a time...
