Question about LG Washing Machines
Hose is clear and water pressure is fine. It seems to be clogged somewhere between the intake valve and the area where water dispenses through the detergent inlet area. There's only a trickle of hot water. Cold is fine. Is there a way to open this area to see if there's a clog or something?
Wich is connecting with inlet hose & inlet valve,,back of the machine,,thre is one filter in side the valve, remove &clean it,,pls

SOURCE: No hot water entering
1. Make sure water comes out of the hot water hose into a bucket.
2. Check to make sure the solenoid valve is working. The buzzing is the 60Hz on the coil and can make a lot of noise if valve does not operate properly. Try blowing into the hot water port. If the solenoid is functioning properly air will move freely, if not its stuck.

Just found this whilst looking for known issues with my machine as the cold water won't stop when filling.

you can swap the hot and cold valves over and see if this fixes the problem as it sound like your cold valve is faulty but not the hot valve.

You are likely using too much detergent or the detergent is not high-efficiency detergent. Change detergents and/or lower amount and this problem should go away.
The water port on the back allows air inside the tub to escape. However, if the wrong type or quantity of detergent are used, excess suds will flow from this port.

When they say replace the valve There,s a very good chance the diaphram is the valve is purferated or split (common Problem). But you can Remove the coil from this & with pointy nose plyers you can unscrew the top & inspect the diaphram If it,s ok give us a bit more info Hope this helps.Cheers.
