We usually use white as common btw. But yes. Look for a color comin to all the valves.remove all other wires. Then run station 1 manually for an he or so and attach each wire and see which zone fires.

Look at the valve wiring to see what color each valve has 1 of the 2 wires connected to it. This is your common connect the same one to common at timer. Start zone 1 and touch each of the remaining wires to the pin to start a zone. Then you can connect them in any order you want in the pins.

All six zones run but cannot get one of the zones to completely shut off so I get a substantial leak so I turned of the system what should I look for

Hi Michael:
The solenoid for the leaking zone will probably have some debris in it. You could try to dismantle and clean it, otherwise, replace and you should be OK.
Cheerfuls.

It is likely the water pressure is low (perhaps a leak in the irrigation pipe) or simply the spring is stuck. Wonder if you have more than one sprinkler connected and if all are having the same problem.

Normally, when there is a battery for an item that has a cord that plugs into power, it is to keep "Memory" of anything programmed, in case power goes out.

I'm getting the error code ER P. What does this mean?

Without knowing who the manufacturer is it sounds like it is an "error in the power supply" Suggest replacing the transformer or checking voltage in the outlet.

When i got my car someone had already cut the wires to radio and i am trying to find out witch ones are witch i can not aford to pay for shop to do it so i have to do it my self

Just remember this color codes:

RED = positive (+) that goes straight to the battery terminal

BLACK = ground (-) that goes to the body of the vehicle

Yellow = switch that goes to the ignition

the other wires is for the speakers. Put speakers at the end of each wires aside from the ones stated above and connect th4e other end to the speaker terminals of your head unit (CAR STEREO).

Hope it helps! ^_^

I hav a 95 berrta and im tying to put a head unit

Hello chrisuftring,

Here's a link to the wiring color code for the '95 Chevy Beretta.

You'll need to match the function of each wire from your head unit and the color code for that would be in your manual. Most aftermarket units are somewhat standard as far as power, accessory, ground, and speaker connections are concerned. But the wiring colors may be different for such leads as remote, power antenna, illumination, dimmer, and muting.

An Alpine head unit has the following wiring colors:
Blue - Power Antenna
Blue/White - Remote
Pink/Black - Audio Interrupt (muting)
Orange - Illumination
Red- Switched 12V+
Yellow - Constant 12V+
Black - Ground
Gray - RF Speaker (+)
Gray/Black - RF Speaker (-)
White - LF Speaker (+)
White/Black LF Speaker (-)
Violet - RR Speaker (+)
Violet/Black RR Speaker (-)
Green - LR Speaker (+)
Green/Black - LR Speaker (-)

With this head unit, you would wire Yellow to Orange, Red to Yellow, Black to Black, Orange to Gray, Blue to Pink, Gray to Light Green, Gray/Black to Dark Green, White to Tan, White/Black to Gray, Violet to Dark Blue, Violet/Black to Light Blue, Green to Brown, and Green/Black to Yellow.

Note that there are 2 "yellow" wires in your vehicle color code. You'll have to test them to determine which one is the accessory wire and which one goes to the left rear speaker. Using a 12V "test light" is the simplest. Connect one side of the light to ground. With the ignition ON probe the yellow wires. One of them should light the tester, the other one won't. Verify that the light goes out when the ignition is OFF and your have separated the redundant "yellows". The one that lit the tester is your 12V+ switched wire and the other one goes to the left rear speaker.

Hope this helps.
