Question about Vizio VL370M LCD TV
Recently one local DTV channel (really #21, virtual 20-1 through -3) has disappeared from our Vizio TV. It has been replaced with what should be virtual channel 24-1 through -6 but they come up as 20-3 to 20-9. Tried all the reset, power disconnect, channel scanning, and antenna disconnect and connect suggestions. Nothing works. These two sets of channels come up correctly on other sets we have. All other channels are fine on this Vizio set as well.
Have you tried doing the channel search? If that does not help replace the main board

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I had the same problem. Change your input to dtv even if you are using coaxial input. Then go to the menu screen and select tuner settings. Dtv setting should appear.

Call vizio's customer support line and tell them you got the 'pop of death', They know this tv is a lemon and are standing behind it to make it right. They will take down your info and serial number and set up a repair order FREE OF CHARGE. When I called, they told me that this model was know to have serious defects and was given a lifetime manufacturer warranty to cover all parts and labor! What happens is that they send someone out, he pronounces the TV to be dead and not worth fixing and they give you a brand spankin new one! This way they get a better reputation by 'covering' their duds but reality is that they don't have to keep fixing this tv if they replace it with a model that only has one year MFG warranty. Either way you win. Post back if you get a different result from calling Vizio. I'd like to know how everyone else's experience is turning out.

Follow up on No DTV tuner after unplugging it a month for vacation. After I let it set plugged in for about 2-3 days it started working normally again and has been fine ever since. I hope this may help someone else. Genez 6-7-09

do you have antenna or cable? if you have antena hook directly to the coax, go to menu, TV, tuner and pick antenna and scan. If you have cable hook directly to your coax repeat the previous step but pick cable instead of antenna. Notice if you have a cable box, you will not need to scan for channel since it will be on channel 3, 4 or any other input you may use.

The TV processor could have some garbage in it do to a small power surge and if you leave your TV unplug for 40MIN., then that will reset it bad to normal, and if tuner still looks snowy and not getting channels, then the tuner, or main TV module needs replaced.
