Question about T-Mobile Wing™ Smartphone
I just got off the phone with someone and set the Wing down. I went to dial another number and the touch screen does not respond. I followed the troubleshooting guide to do a soft reset, even removed the battery, but it's still not working.
My wing stopped working for about a year and I cleaned from around the screen real good with a piece of paper and did a har reset and it started back working..hope this helps someone...

(I have had 5 wings so far and no not because they break I am a reseller.I have noticed that with the combination of the everyday use and abuse we put on a phone and the strong vibe the wing has it can sometimes loosen connectors inside that may cause your touchscreen to work when it wants intermittently as well as some other issues like speaker to sound blown or maybe you cannot hear someone through the earpiece.All that can be caused by a loose wire which all can be properly tuned up for about 25 bucks with a free diagnosis.So far 3 out of 3 was just loose wires.and to think people sale their wings for 50 bucks. )
question were do you go to get the free diagnosis??????

My tmobile wing touchscreen stopped working two weeks after my warranty expired and tmobile won't replace they have ben so unhelpful. worst phone ever if its going to last just over a year of using it. all they say is to send it to get repair and pay another 200 might as well buy another phone brand new.

My touch screen stopped working after a year and T-Mobile rep asked me to try to upgrade the software. After I upgraded the software, the first screen is the screen set-up and this requires touch sensitivity which is not restored. Now I am more stuck than before. Help!

I had the same problem- screen stopped responding on my wing and the alignment thing wouldn't work either- most of the buttons would work but not all- i called t-mobile and a rep told me to take a piece of paper and clean any dudt or debris from where the screen goes under the phone housing (didn't help) we did a hard reset (didn't help) this has been the worse phone i have ever owned (oh by the way, once you do a hard reset, you can't use the phone anymore if you can't tap the screen when it boots back up-according to the rep anyway)

They asked me what color the dot was under the battery (white--i guess it turns red if there's water damage) and they sent me a new handset and i got it in two days.
I've had this new phone and have had no problems with it (knock on wood!)

Do not buy the T-Mobile Wing phone!!!! T-Mobile tech people have told me they have a known problem with the touch screen locking and there is no way to fix it. Every time a unit goes down, you have to wait for a replacement in the mail.(This has happened six times!) They only replace phones for the first year and you have to wait a week for a replacement! (Upon the recommendation of the T-Mobile sales rep, I bought two Wing phones.) One for me, and one for my son. I spent over $800.00 on phones! After a painfull six months of living with this phone, I called T-Mobile and demanded they exchange the phones. (They were very unhelpful, and wouldn't even tell me what state they were in.) They settled on a reduced price phone replacement. I'm still out another $400.00 to replace the phones with the Blackberry units! Please save yourself, I beg You. The T-mobile wing phone has horrible reviews, horrible customer service satisfaction ratings, and horrible everything! Return your phones and get out while you still can!

They do not give you a new phone, my wing stopped working will not unlock and tmobile has not been helpful

Call tmobile and ask for a hanset exchange if it hasnt been a year since you bought it then they'll prbally give you a new free one
