This may be because your hold button is on. Make sure the hold button is off. It's on the side of the player

Also your automatic folder "open" option may be disabled. Plug your MP3 into your USB then after 20 seconds click on: My Computer (which should be on your desktop) Now look for a drive that says: Removable Disk - this is your MP3 player. You can now drag and drop MP3s into it.

I dont know how to put music in this mp3 player!!!

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Thank You

Cant load music on centon player. Says disk

If your "Hold" button is on, turn it off. The hold button write-protects the USB drive and you cannot add or delete files.

I have a centon 2GB Digital MP3 player. I plugged

Remove the battery, then put it back in, restart windows and plug it in,
make sure windows see the devise.

If you removed it while it was still loading, you could have locked the devise
from working, and you will have to send it to the MFG to get it fixed.

Go to there website and see how you have to send it back.

How do i get music on my mp3 from mp3 downloads i have..where to get and how to copy it on??

If you have a centon USB type mp3 player plug it into the USB on your computer. It will show up as an external hard drive. You just highlight the MP3s you want to put on and drag and drop them into the external drive for the player. If you don't know where the files are that you downloaded do this:

1. Click on Start

2. Click on Search

3. Click on For Files or Folders

4. Click: All files and folders

5. Type in: .mp3 (make sure to put the period before it)

Once you've located the mp3 files on your computer use your mouse - click once on the file and hold down the mouse button then drag it to the folder you have open for your MP3 player.

Computer is sayin the mp3 is full but there is nothing on it

Suddenly my centon 4GB wasn't allowing me to add mp3s to it as it said it didn't have any more space but I knew it did because I had just deleted a couple gigs. I figured out that there's an "invisible" recycle folder on the mp3 player that has the files you've deleted still stored in it.

To fix do this:

1. plug your mp3 player into the USB port.

2. Find out the letter of the drive it appears as.
ex. let's say the external drive it appears as is F:\

3. Now go to:

Start
Run
Type in: F:\recycled

4. Click on File on the top toolbar

5. Click Empty Recycle Bin

Your free space on your mp3 player should now successfully be retrieved!

Cant transfer limewire music from my computer to my mp3

You can't use Limewire directly to transfer songs to the Nextar. You will need to transfer the songs to the Nextar using Windows Media Player. Limewire puts the songs in a folder called "Limewire Downloads" usually. You will need to open Windows Media Player, run the mouse over the "Library" tab, and select "Add to Library." Once the window pops up you will need to add the folder called "Limewire Downloads" - it may take several minutes, but Windows Media Player is going to add all of those Limewire downloads to its own library. Then, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to the Nextar.

Cant figure out how to add music

Hey jankey mp3,

According to information provided by the manufacturer, this MP3 player functions just like a normal USB flash drive. This means that the device should appear in the "My Computer" menu under either "Storage Devices" or "Removable Hardware."

As such, you should be able to use the standard Windows "drag-and-drop" option to load music onto the player. Simply click on the music titles you want to add, drag them over the player, then drop the music files into that folder.

If you would like more information, I would suggest referring to the owner's manual documentation for more detailed instructions or the following Centon website:

http://www.centon.com/pmp/support

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

Unused space on player

Well it's not really a solution, just a work around. I don't know why it does this but if you add a new folder you can load more stuff it that. At least that worked for me. I don't know why you just can't put it all directly on. Pretty stupid.
