What model is your lawnmower and what wattage?

It Sounds like from what you have said it could well be the capacitor that bridges the on/off switch that needs replacing. These can sometimes be temperamental, and go open circuit, particulary if the mower has in the past overheated and the cut-out has been activated. They are quite easy to replace yourself and can be purchased on ebay.

SOURCE: blades wont engage

check the clutch if it engage then check the cable and belt to if it works make sure all the bolts are tight. usually the belts is too loose or if its a clutch drive maybe the clutch doesn't engage or worn out.

Yes, that's all you need. At some time yours was cross-threaded, That means that it was forced on wrongly, and broke the thread.

SOURCE: hi, I have an older Murray ride on mower, small

Sounds like you have some sort of seize up problem in your deck assembly. Have someone help you with this check, start your engine, engage the blade or blades, and have someone watch the shoot from a distance to see if blade or blades turn. if not then your problem is in the area of top pulley and blade or blades. You may need to replace or loosen the pulley to blade shaft. Sometimes this part is repairable where you can replace bearings or bushings and sometimes the whole unit needs to be replaced. Look to see if there are grease fittings on this unit. Try oil anywhere it will flow down in between areas that may be seized and work on loosening up the pulley blade assembly.
If this doesn't help, go to some of your local mower repair shops, they may be able to sell you a used part. Remember to bring mower information with you so they can help you with the correct part.
I hope this has been helpful to you. GOOD LUCK.

My Snapper NXT2346 just stopped while mowing checked battery is ok, no power to starter or safety switch, changed fuse, seat switch check seemed to be ok - any suggestions?

Those tractors have a few safety switches and they all have to be engaged in a closed position for you to have ignition and have unit operate. Did you check the obvious ? - ignition switch?

If it just stopped dead while you were mowing then the ignition had to have been interrupted. That switch powers both the starter and ignition circuits.

I need help!! It's 91& humid today.I have a lawn party tonight & 4 acres of mowing.Anyone know where the fuse is onHusqvarna 2654?Alternative is push mowing 4 acres :

Find your starter solenoid. On it is small red wire, trace it back to fuse. The should be somewhere in the operator station but you go through this try checking to see the lights are working or not with ignition switch in run position. If they light up then the fuse is not blown and you have another problem.

What could cause Ignition 1 no 2 fuse to blow intermittently

aI dont recommend it but you can try a higher amperage fuse to see if the problem happens. Fuses are really not currently limited, they are there for short circuits, if yours is blowing intermittantly, you might have a connection probelm etc.

The mower keeps cutting when mowing banking

If you are trying to say the mower stops cutting when you are mowing a bank, that is because the **** switch in the seat is telling the relay that no **** is there anymore and it should hence not be running. Safety issue. You have to learn to lean whilst keeping your **** exactly on top the spot where the seat's safety switch is, tilt the seat up and you will see the wires coming from it.

LTX1000 42" 18HP Kohler - Blowing fuse after 2-4 min mowing.

sounds as though you are on the right track
but be sure to check the wiring directly from the electric clutch on the front of the motor back to the switch
a wire could be pinched in the frame and shorting out intermittingly
look around and find those wires and move them around and look for chaffing and tightness
and what you could also do is to unhook the clutch at the connection to it at the front of the motor and engage switch and ride around and see if fuse blows and if not you may have an electric clutch issue
