Question about HP G60-120US Laptop
If the PC is turned off, connect and turn on the printer first, then the PC. Both are HP items so I'm pretty sure that the computer will have a driver available.
This forces Windows to 'find' a 'new device' and if it does have a driver (a small piece of software that translates between them), it will state 'Installing software.'
If it doesn't and you have no CD belonging to the printer, you will have to download the driver and related software from the HP website. This isn't always fun so be prepared to spend some time finding it.
Look particularly for the all-in-one by model number and the 'support' area for it. It will ask you questions about your system and which version of Windows you have.
