Question about Intuit QuickBooks Premier 2009 Full Version for PC
Everytime I do an inquiry or receive payment a "navigation to webpage" window opens up. I'm not connected to the internet on that computer and I can't find where to turn it off. It's extremely irritating. Any help is appreciated.
This message occurs because, even if you are not on the internet, many of the internal pages in Qb use Internet Explorer.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

As with all evolving software (as the well written ones are), as you update one you'll invariable need to update others. If you want QB Pro 2005 to work properly, you'll have to contact Intuit for any patches to their software to make it compatible with IE8. I suspect that Intuit would rather sell you an upgrade to their most recent version of QB Pro (hence lightening your wallet substantially). If there's functionality in IE8 that you absolutely HAVE to have, you'll probably be stuck paying for the QB Pro upgrade. Otherwise, you can simply stick with IE6 or 7 (as you've already reverted back to). Sorry there's not a better answer.

You need to register your software to stop receiving notices about how many times you have left to use it. You can call Intuit and get a validation number to enter into the software or you can register it online and it will record the information automatically. That solves one problem. What happens when you try and open vendors or customers?
