Maybe your phone is tapped. ( ie someone is tracing your calls and listening to your conversations. Try doing a hard reset on your phone, this may solve the problem.

The receiver hears an echo when talking using the above hands free device

Depending on how much echo and how distinct it is, it may just be because the mic on your device (which is is by definition omni-directional) is picking up the reflected sound (say in your vehicle) than you would get talking directly into the device. Some models will exaggerate this because of the compression in the audio circuits.

I just received my RSQ-echo 2000 karaoke machine. When I plug a mic into the front 2 mic inputs, they both have echo, even tho I turned off the echo volume in the back. I assumed that by turning it all...

The control supposedly controls the mix of the echo... this is a reverb type sound. Please note that room acoustics AND if the mic's "hear" the speaker in this, it may create an echo that is NOT under control of the adjustment. Make sure the mic's cannot "hear" the speaker or a reflection off a wall.

Echo when connecting Samsung Plasma to Onkyo TX-SR602

Make sure you have the tv volume turned right down as this will cause an echo, also set amp to prologic 2, and set up xover to suit your speakers or go for the THX standard of 80 hrtz and as a rule of thumb set front L,C,R speakers to zero rears to about +4or5 and your sub to -5[ dont know which speakers you have but try setting the subs on board volume to the 10,o,cloak position],also make sure the speakers -,+ are wired the same at the amp and speakers.

Hope this helps.

Echo when playing surround sound

You want to adjust the "DELAY" setting on the receiver. The standard (default) delay setting is 20mS, which may need to be shortened if your speakers are well behind your listening position. In a proper setup, you should not detect a significant echo effect in surround programming (unless it is a purposely "echoey" scene). Also, make sure you don't have any of the "enhanced" DSP modes engaged -- some of these are quite echoey. if it has speaker set up, there should be a setting for distance. You might have it set close, so that by the time you hear the fronts, the rears should go. Try setting it farther each time until it sounds right. good luck
