Hi, can you put the system in standby?
If you can, then try a system reset.
While the pod is in standby, hold input and settings on the pod unitl the firmware shows up.
Also make sure the control pod is adequately ventilated.

Fun Facts About Chocolate Tempering

Temperature:
Chocolate is best stored in a dark, dry, cool place, about 13-15 degrees Celsius.
It should not be stored in the fridge nor near strong smelling foods as it will absorb the smell very easily.
If chocolate is wrapped and stored properly it can be kept even for a year.
Regarding the tempering, it is always best to temper chocolate at room temperature (around 20-22 degrees C) .

Water:
Tempering does not go well with water. If you need to temper your chocolate, do not mix it with water. The slightest amount of moisture will cause it to seize.
For this reason you should always make sure that all utensils and the machine are completely dry and that the chocolate isn't more than 10 degrees colder than room temperature. Otherwise condensation will form on the chocolate's surface as soon as it's exposed to the warmer conditions.

Quantities:
If you need to temper large quantities of chocolate (over 700gm) it is best to temper a portion of it, and then substitute some of the tempered chocolate that you use, with melted untempered chocolate.
For example if you use 100cc of tempered chocolate you can then add to the temperer exactly 100cc of melted untempered chocolate and let it blend. In a few seconds the mixture should be fully tempered again. If it does not temper properly, you can press the "melt" button, wait for the cursor to show 43 degrees, and then push "temper", adding more "seed" chocolate.

Viscosity and Texture:
Tempered chocolate should be viscous. The more viscous the better it will cling to a dipped piece, the thicker the coat will be. The more runny the chocolate, the thinner the coating.
In order to adjust viscosity, if the chocolate is too thick you can add small amounts of cocoa butter either by using the method of tempering large quantities of chocolate, or by adding the cocoa butter behind the baffle and go through the cycle again, pressing "melt" and then "temper" and adding "seed" chocolate.

If the normal tempering method doesn't work, try using the Temper 2 option, which includes a slower cooling.

If the chocolate is over-tempered and thick, it could be caused by pieces of cool or solid chocolate in the bowl.
If this happens press "reset", then "melt", wait until the cursor returns to 43 degrees and then press "temper", adding 85gm of solid chocolate behind the baffle, continuing the tempering as usual.

Dipping:
- make sure the piece is completely dry. Dust it with cornflour if you want to be sure of the absence of mousture on its surface.
- make sure the chocolate has the right amount of fat, as too much fat would make the coating too thin and too little fat would make it too thick.
- For a complete coverage of the piece, choose a suitable dipping tool
- make sure you have a ready sheet of unwaxed paper or parchment to set the dipped pieces on.
- allow pieces to set for 24 hours.
- if the dipped piece cracks it means it was probably too cold.

Can someone please tell me how to connect my logitech z5500 to my lg 42ld460-ta LCD television to get the optimal sound value from the surround sound system? Thanks very much!

Your LG TV has an audio out socket at the back . Your Logitech has a cable with a green pin (headphone type) which normally goes into the PC's sound out. The same pin can be connected to the TV's out. Now if your TV has a digital out at the back, get yourself an optic fiber cable ( make sure its long enough to reach the Logitech ) and connect it to the z5500 for the best in sound !!.

Scurity penal temper

seems one of your tamper swicthes has been activated, you should be able to isolate which one is needing attention and mute the sounder too
It is common for the tampers to fail in very moist conditions ie outside siren boxs exposed to the elements or a rodent has chewed thru your wiring
i could be a simple as a spider sitting on the tyamper switch in side the box.
If your alarm is monitored then you will have to call an alarm company to fix this for you unless you have the right skills to trace isolate and repair this problem,

Logitech z5500 speakers no power

certainly sounds like a fuse problem. First check that the fuses you have used work in another appliance. You should not have to use a fuse from the logitech company but it will be rated for your speakers so would probably be best. If the fuse checks out (both plug and amp) then check the wall socket and the power cable.

I have replaced my electric water heater and I have checked everything I can think of and I still run out of hot water in 3 minutes. What on earth is the problem.

3 minutes?? does the water run cold then? or just warm?
Is this what the tank you replaced was doing? If so, then you may have: 1 a recirculating pump instant hot water system thats faulty and allowing cold water backflow into hot water piping. 2 A tempering valve that has stuck, allowing cold water into your hot water system.
Or maybe a broken or missing dip tube in your new heater.
If after 3 minutes the water is coming cold out leave that faucet running and go to heater and feel the hot water outlet pipe from the heater. if that pipe is hot then the heater is not the problem. If the hot pipe from the heater is cold the heater is the problem. (Make sure the cold pipe coming into the heater is connected to the Right side marked "cold" !) If there is a tempering valve by the heater: feel the output from the tempering valve, if it is cold and the pipe from the heater to the tempering valve is hot, then the tempering valve is the problem. If all these are OK somewhere in your plumbing system hot and cold may be connected possibly a faucet or showerhead that is shut off at the spout/head, but hot/cold handles are left turned on then cold water can backflow thru hot pipe.
