Engine runs but blades dont move

John:

My bet is that the drive gears are stripped. Lay the machine on it's back and see the 4 screws that hold the sole plate on to the body of the machine, (The sole plate is also the bottom cutting frame that the blade slides against). Remove the 4 screws (be careful... there will be a small circular bushing under the sole plate and it likes to jump out, fall off of the table, and run under the nearest immovable object!) Remove the sole plate and blade and upper cutting frame as a unit. You can now see the gears that drive the blade, and one (or both) of the gears will be stripped of it's teeth. Go to the manufacturer's website and you might be able to buy new gears.

Countax c400h noisy when engage deck

In all likely hood, you have a bad bearing on one of the blade spindles. A very common problem and a easy repair. You don't have to replace the whole unit. You can just take them apart and put in new bearings ( upper and lower ). The bearings have numbers on them nand you can get them at any bearing store.

My countax C300H starts OK but when I engage the cutters it immediately cuts out. If I let the engine run for 10 minutes then engage the cutters they usually work ok but this is pretty annoying. Is there...

Just got one of these mowers myself - accidentally got a large stone caught in the blades which caused the same problem. It looked to me that there's a sensor on the flywheel that cuts the motor if the blades aren't rotating freely. You might find either that the sensor is broken (check it by pulling off the connectors and connecting them together) or that the blades aren't rotating for some reason.

Diagram showing assembly of 4 parts of cutting head

I solved the problem finally. I discovered that the plate which has the 2 large threaded holes which carry the fixed cutter, had to be locked in behind 2 spring fixing points (on the body of the clippers) before inserting the tongue into the body of the shaver. When I first removed the plate I used a screwdriver blade to spring the tongue away from the body and the whole caboodle (4 pieces) fell out on the bench, so I didn't see how it was assembled. Thanks for your interest anyway.

I want to know which knob I use to make the stitching narrower

there are generally two variable controls .. one adjusts the stitch length (distance between stitches measured in stitches per inch) ... the second is stitch width .. that adjusts how far the zigzag moves left and right .. thats usually just a number from 0 to 10 or so .. 10 would be maximum width .. 0 would be used for straight stitch ..
so you need to adjust the stitch width control to make the stitching narrower .. the controls are called different things on different brand sewing machines .. if you have the brand and model number then there may be instruction booklets available ...

Blades not cutting checked all belts they are ok but not driving blades countax c300h tractor

Either the belts are worn making them too loose, or you may have a spindle issue there. Check the spindles to make sure they aren't seized. Also, check the blade center nuts to make sure they are tight. Good luck.

I have a Countax K14 ride on mower the cutter deck

Hello ianh_2007:

Usually this Problem is Caused by a Blown Fuse or a Bad PTO Ground.
1-The Following is a Basic File I Made for Checking the PTO (Blade Engagement).
>>The Most Common Cause for this Problem is the PTO Ground. >>A Quick Ground Check is to Use Another Wire and Ground the PTO at the Harness Connection Nearest the PTO.
>>Be Careful and Do Not Ground the HOT Wire. Use a Multimeter and Locate the Ground Wire.
>>Clean the PTO Ground and All the Connections for the PTO Wiring Harness.
>>If you have an Ohmmeter, Disconnect the Wiring Harness from the Front of the Clutch and Check the Resistance of the Clutch. You should have around 4 or 5 OHMs. If at or near Zero, the Coil has Shorted.
2- >>The Following is a Basic File I made for Setting the PTO Clearance. Any Input is Appreciated. **Some of the Newer PTOs cannot be Adjusted.
>>If you can Get a Blade Style Feeler Gauge between the PTO Magnet and Clutch, then Set the Clearance at .015in. The Newer PTOs have the Same Set Up as the Older PTOs, except there is No Adjustments.
>>I Suggest also that you Rig a 12 Volt Light for Testing the Current Flow to the PTO while Operating the Mower. If the Light Blinks During Operation, then you have a Bad Connection somewhere to the PTO Clutch.
>>If the Light Stays Steady and the PTO Still Kicks in and Out, then it is the Adjustment.
>>You can Also Try Turning the Spring Loaded Adjuster Nuts 1/4 Turn and Operate the Mower. Do Not Adjust Over 1/2 Turn.
>>If you have Adjusted to 1/2 Turn and the Problem is Still Present and you Know the Voltage to the PTO is Steady, then Replace the PTO.**
Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Be Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck

Respectfully
