Question about Dell Inspiron 700M Notebook
If the screens are good then the problem is most likely the GPU on the motherboard.
Whenever I replace lcds I always match up the exact part numbers on the back of the lcd to avoid problems like yours.
You're probably getting the white screen due to incorrect resolution settings in the bios.
You should hook the laptop up to an external monitor and flash the bios to the latest version.
That usually addresses the problem.
