Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Any radio shop will replace this speaker. Just give them make and serial number. Can you buy it back from the charity shop ?

When playing DVD all the audio is clear expcept words spoken by actors and is is buffled. How do I fix?

Make sure your Center speaker is enabled, defined to the system and working according to the manual.

See pages 18 and 19.

Then look at DVD Preferences on Page 37 and run those speaker tests and adjustments.

check with the following step(s)..
1) replace n see, if other speakers r running in ur pc..
2) connect ur speaker to other computer (anywhere), n see..
3) try download n install the audio driver..
4) remove unnecessary items from boot..download n install 'Startup Control Panel'..in here uncheck unimportant startup items..
OR 5) replace the RAM with a standby..
OR 6) reinstall os..
OR 7) disable audio device from the CMOS/BIOS..install a fresh PCI Audio Card n see..
[if u r at option 7, howevr, it works or not, probably itz for sure that the main/mother board is defective]..

at any point of time, u may contact me/us, in case u require any guidance..

if u r not a professional, try contact ur system admin/vendor....

Enquiry: Is it essential to have speakers that have a direct power lead. The computer in question is HPA6332 - 9500.

Page 17 provides guidance for connecting speakers to an HP A6332.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00839729.pdf

This excerpt on page 17 can be clarified by adding "IF," before the sentence.

"NOTE: Speakers may be passive (no power button and no power cord) or active (power
button or power cord). Your computer supports only active (powered) speaker systems; the
speaker system must have its own power cord."

This is an excerpt from page 21

"Speaker types

Speakers may be included with the monitor (select models only) or are sold separately.
Refer to the product documentation for your speakers.
Your computer supports only an active (powered) speaker system. An active speaker
system must have its own power cord. A home audio system does not require active
speakers, because the receiver provides amplification."

Generally speaking, manufacturers offer many types of speakers for use with their computers. If the speakers that originally came with your computer had a extrernal power supply, then it would probably be best to use externally powered speakers.

I have seen many older computers and even some budget computers that use the sound card for amplification. Most modern sound cards are primarilly focused on sound processing, and not necessarilly amplification.

Its impossible to know whether your system requires powered or non-powered speakers because I have no way of knowing your computers specific configuration. However, I think it is safe to say, if you use externally powered speakers in either case, you should be ok.

If you call the manufacturer, or go to its web site, your original computer configuration can normally be provided if you provide its serial number.

Hope this helps - Good Luck!

Am setting up a bose GSX 3-2-1 home theater

Need to know the TV connections. On newer TV's there RCA jack connection or ext speaker connections. Usually the external TV speaker connections hook to the woofer and the rest of the speakers are connected to the woofer. The woofer acts as the sound system for the rest of the speakers. With this method you need to mute the internal TV speakers by a swiich on the TV or internal TV setup menus and select ext speakers.

IF there is no route guidance it is because the unit is not receiving VSS information from the vehicle.  Confirm that you are getting the VSS info from the correct source and or use Rostra Precision Control's cruise control guide to confirm your VSS wire.

Whenever I turn receiver on, it turns off almost immediately

The amplifier blew out (probably shorted and damaged when wire was loose, and gave out under load). It won't be cheap to repair....
