A software upgrade may resolve the issue if not the main Pcb. would need replacement.
Contact LG during normal business hour 8-6 central time.

They may help you out also let them know if you are having a lipsync issue.....Wink wink

The answer i viewed on another site was that the mainboard was fried and a cost of over $400.to replace the board(not counting labor). Life sure is good...thanks for 3 years use of a 37 inch LCD monitor.

The solution for the problem is to replace the control PCB. The PCB is the printed circuit board that controls the volume, channel and menu buttons.
These parts can be found and bought from Sears parts direct.
