Question about Celestion S10 Subwoofer
Hi, I have a Celestion S10 sub woofer with avp 305 speaker. I am using this device form a sony dvd player of which the speakers are plugged into. What settings do I set on the subwoofer as I have no manual, and line in, highpass output left, input level even what voltage do I use 230 or 115v is confusing . All I can say is I get a deep vibration sound from the sub woofer and when I adjust the phase or frequency crossover I am scared of doing permanent damage to the system.
Voltage is relevant to where you live in the world. America it's 110. Europe mostly 220.
What you're asking is a very deep and complicated question.
I'm attaching a link with some articles.
What I suggest is that you find an upper end audio store and ask a 20 audio head to set up your system for you. Subwoofer Setup and Calibration for Best Bass

What you are proposing will not work.
You can EITHER use the Line inputs OR high level speaker inputs.
Using the line inputs, your L&R line level signals pass through the sub on their way to a stereo amp, then speakers.
Using the Speaker inputs, your L & R speaker cables connect from your amp (or PC speaker outputs) to the "Speaker input" terminals. The "Speaker output" terminals then connect to your speakers.
