I had this same problem this year with mine, and it was a failed solenoid inside the bottom of the transmission. I bought the three shift solenoids from the Chevy dealer, and with an offer of 600 dollars to replace them (labor), I did it myself. Super easy job. Removed the trans oil pan and unscrewed each one.
God bless your efforts.
It must be an electrical situation and the stealership will be costly . It is just dishonest of them to tell you to bring it in and then start with the $$ big dollar solutions first. Try making sure all the electrical connections are in tack and not loose. Hope that Helps
I've had numerous issues just this summer with my 2008 LTZ Suburban. The dealership has replaced the battery, some module and, it's back in as we speak to have both runnimg board motors replaced because they both locked up again! A friend of mine owns a 2009 LTZ Suburban and has started having intermittent problems with her running boards, too. When it's time to up-grade, I will NOT be getting retractable running boards again!!
you have to adjust the trailer brakes to brake softer when the suburban brakes are applied. depending on the model of trailer brake controller you have the settings should be fairly simple. you might want to try going down by 45% for starters and if it is still too hard go in 5% increments
You should take it to the dealer and ask for the unlock code and the procedure for your radio for your year, make, and model car and radio combination.
You might be able to punch in the codes yourself, if they are kind enough to tell you how.
Factory radio? There should be Hours and Minutes at the lower right corner. If not there should be a CLK button to depress and set hours/minutes that way. The Manual should have it listed.
thanks just take to dealership
