What belt(brand/numbers)to replace the one on a Powermatic Artisan 63A Table Saw?

Probably a long out of date question but my suggestion is to purchase a link style belt to replace the old hard drive belt that comes with the saw. It'll deliver more power to the blade, run quieter and work better. I also recommend replacing the drive pulleys while you're at it. Get a couple of balance ones.

You can get a link belt at Rockler or other woodworking outlets.

I am attempting to make rail and stile doors for an entertainment center. I am getting a rippled effect in the routed area of the wood. What am I doing wrong?

There can be several things you are doing wrong. First make sure your router bits are sharp. Also you may be feeding the wood through the bit too fast this will affect the finished cut.Just try on some scrap to change feed speeds until you get it right because if you feed to slow then you may get burning. Also a feather board might help if you have one. It will keep the wood firm against the bit and stop chattering as the wood passes over the bit. I am assuming you are using a router table?? If not you should be as these bits are designed to be used on a router table.

Manual Craftman professional router table model

I have a Craftsman professional router table, laminated model 26608. I can not find a parts manual for this item. I tried a number of way to find parts for this item. I believe this was made by Bosch. I can not purchase a Router table mounting plate for this item. it measures 7" x 8". with a center hole of 3". also 3" insert rings. Bosch and Sears makes items for a professional router but the center hole is 3 3/4 inches and the plate is a lot larger in width and length. I have gone to Bosch on the internet and came up with a model RA1171. This is a model like the one I purchased; however, they have changed the size of the adapter plate and the center rings. the model no. they show is 29LCN1428.

Lincoln log bit??

I haven't seen a lincoln log in a long time, but I'd say something in the neighborhood of 3/8" round over bit would do it. It's going to depend on the size of stock you round off. Take off 1/2 or a little less than 1/2 the width of your square "blanks", and use that number as the radius of the roundover bit. If you want not a full 1/4 of a circle profile, use a little bit larger bit and don't raise it all the way out of the base to cut.
By the way, I'd recommend you use a router table to run these pieces, or you're not going to have much left to rest on for the final pass. With a router table, you can leave a square bit on each end that you don't route, (and cut off later), that guides the piece against the table and fence.
Much safer IMHO.
Good luck!
