Ny brushes don't spin (by 6 users)
my brushes are not spinning i remove the brushes and turn them but i put it back in the machine and it does not spin but suction is ok
5 Other Users Have The Same Problem

I take the brushes move fine, when I put them back in they are stuck...what's up??

The brushes do not spin. The water is dispensed in lines that are not being spread over the carpet by the spinner. Everything else is fine. Is there a belt under the hood? I've had it open but it looks like that part of the motor is enclosed and I'm araid if I take it apart I'll really foul it up. It will cost more to take it to a repairman than to replace it. I love the machine but would be afraid to buy another one because of this problem. Apparently this is a common complaint.

I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE BRUSHES NOT GOING AROUND REMOVED THEM AND THEY WILL TURN FREE AND PUT THEM BACK INTO THE MACHINE AND NOTHING HAPPENS

Hello I love my Hoover Steam Vac Spin Brush. But I have a problem I'm all set to clean my carpet, water is in the tank, solution is in & I turn on the my carpet cleaner & THE BRUSHES ARE NOT SPINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BRUSHES TURN, BUT WHEN I PUT MY FINGER ON ONE OF THE BRUSHES, THE BRUSHES CEASE TO MOVE WITH A VERY LITTLE PRESSURE
