My Dell 924 printer is printing blank pages

My Dell 924 sounds like it's printing, but when the pages come out they are blank

Hi there,
" Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
" Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
" restart the computer
" try to download drivers from the website
" after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
" then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

The print head needs to be cleaned. If this does not work, try a new print cartridge.

Missing lines of print

You either have to change the ink cartridge or try to clean the ink cartridge nozzles as described in the user manual;

On page 54 it states the following:

To clean the ink cartridge nozzles:
1 Load plain paper. For more information, see "Loading Paper" on page 19.
2 In Windows XP, click Start-Control Panel-Printers and Other Hardware-Printers and
Faxes.
In Windows 2000, click Start-Settings-Printers.
3 Right-click the Dell Photo AIO Printer 924 icon.
4 Click Printing Preferences.
The Printing Preferences dialog box opens.
5 Click the Maintenance tab.
6 Click Clean Print Cartridges.
7 If the print quality has not improved, click Print Again.
8 Print your document again to verify the improved print quality.
9 If you are not satisfied with the print quality, wipe the ink cartridge nozzles, and then print
your document again.

Go to dell.com. Scroll to the bottom of screen to Support, then product support, and choose from model, printer, printer then scroll down to your model# then confirm. Go to "how do I resolve a problem with a dell laser printer or Dells extensive knowledgebase and forums.

My printer simply prints blank pages. When i run the test page this prints fine. all documents are held in a cue but never print. I have bought brnad new cartridges from dell as the last 1ns i had were...

Printer is printing fine but will not scan


go to page 59 of the manual ("http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/924/en/om_en/om_en.pdf" if you don't have it) look for code 2100 at the bottom of the page. good luck!

Printer Problems


Uninstall the printer driver software completely and then download the drivers from the dell website for the Dell 924. Reboot the system and it should be okay.

Dell 924 Scanner page is blank


Try to open it in another program, then copy and paste to Word 2000. Or go to the Word help section and find answers on line. You might be able to upgrade to Word 2003.
