Question about Gateway Belkin 54g Wireless DSL/Cable Router (DHF5D72304)
I can not connet my momñs laptop bacause I need a password that I forget
I will solve with the assumption you are trying to connect the MomLaptop to the Wireless Belkin Model Number ??????
1. On the back of the router, there should be a small hole with a button within it.
2. With an end of a paper clip and the router powered on, push in the button for about 15 seconds, then release it.
3. The lights will react, but that is okay.
Now the router is back to factory defaults, so with the manual in hand proceed..
* * Create a unique password for your WEP - Suggestion - Use the XP Product Codes under your Laptop, selecting a pattern of your choice, but one that will be easliy remembered :-) * *
After you have the router reconfigured, you will need to have the Laptop search for the new WEP address and configuration. Then you should be good to go...

On the back of the router, there is a tiny reset button. With router on, hold that button down for 10 seconds. This restores the router to its original factory settings. The password will be blank and the IP will be 192.168.2.1
