I just installed a us pool pump motor eb841 1hp 3450rpm 208volt 56y and it is leaking water behind the square bell housing actually leaking bottom side of motor

There is a leaky water seal on the pump shaft housing between the pump and the motor.
The drain hole prevents water from going into the motor and this seal needs to be replaced before the motor is damaged.

How can i tell if i have a bad waterpump on 96 dodge dakota

Turn the engine off, and climb underneath. Examine the bottom side of the water pump, looking for a green or white deposit that might show where coolant has been leaking. Sometimes it's difficult to get access to the bottom of the water pump, but if you see a streak that looks like dried coolant, and it goes under the pulley, you have a faulty/leaky water pump.

No water comes out of dishwasher when I turn it on. It is a Kitchenaid and about 4 years old. I hear something trying to turn on, but no water in the washer itself.

The anti flood system could be activated (shuts water off and puts the washer in pump out mode only). This device triggers when water leaks to the bottom of the washer due to 1)Leaky pipe 2) Blocked pipe 3) Customer spillage. The device is a small polystireene plate coupled to a micro switch. The polystireene lifts when in contact with water and activates the switch.
Dry the water and rectify the leak and this should solve the problem.

Ok, Its defiantly the seal that is between the water pump and the engine block that is leaking the coolant.

Washer leaking water on floor

Need to check drain pump and its hose connections. If its not from the drum seal then that's usually where the leaks occur.
